Sydenham Town Centre
Manager
Sydenham has been without a Town Manager for some time.
However in June Lewisham appointed Julie Sutch. We hope Julie will be our
friend with Lewisham in getting the support and ideas in improving and
re-invigorating business to the benefit of the whole community. Let Julie
introduce herself in her own words:

I'm Julie Sutch, the new South Lewisham Town Centre
Manager. I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to improve and
develop the vibrancy and attractiveness of the South Lewisham Town Centres,
which include Forest Hill, Sydenham, Bellingham and Downham, to shop, live and
work in. Over the last couple of years Forest Hill and Sydenham have seen many
improvements, working with the Traders Associations and Lewisham Council. I
intend to build on these developments which will now include Bellingham and
Downham to ensure that South Lewisham continues to thrive in the
future.
I have lived in and around, and worked in the local
area for the last 17 years. I have seen how Lewisham has evolved over this time
and therefore have some understanding of the needs of the local residents and
businesses.
Town Centre Management is a slight change in direction
for me having spent the last 5 years working for Wandsworth Council in
marketing. For those of you who don't know, I am based at:
