started. You can see the Sailors' Memorial

tulips. The cricket pitch is off to the left.
These pathways used to
be tarmaced and divided between walkers and cyclists. A bout two years ago
these were removed and replaced with these clay like paths which are supposed
to be authentic.
Sadly when it rains they
become very slippy and require a great deal of boot polish to
