Another major blight is
the large area allocated for car parking. This is necessary nowadays to attract
people to enjoy events and the facilities. The Park is also served by a railway
station close to the stadium and a major bus terminus on top of the hill on
Crystal Palace Parade.
This is the rear
approach to the station lovingly signposted and illustrated by this wonderful
wall painting bringing together trains and dinosaurs. The young artists have
signed their names and one prays that the graffitti artists will pass this wall
by without addition.
